Their client list includes private developers, local authorities as well as government departments who all benefit from a wide range of services including, but not limited to, road rehabilitation/ resealing, township infrastructure, asphalt works, general civil engineering, pipelines, bulk earthworks, new (major and minor) roads, minor concrete structures, electrical substation civil works as well as plant hire.

 

They are looking to expand their team with an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor (QS) who has 5+ years of tender experience in a civil/ construction environment and experience with CCS, Colto and Sans 1200 specifications.

 

The Estimator/QS will be based in the Mossel Bay/George area but can be expected to work across South Africa if necessary.

Position Details:

Type: Permanent

Responsibilities and duties:

 

Preparation of tender documents.

Liaison with suppliers and subcontractors during the tender process.

Calculation of quantities for cost estimates of civil works.

Planning and organizing tasks that form part of the tender.

Identification and analysis of technical requirements of a tender.


Location (city, province): Mossel Bay, Western Cape

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
 

A relevant post matric technical qualification is a requirement.

Experience with CCS.

Experience with Colto & Sans 1200 specifications.

Minimum of 5-year relevant tender experience in a Civil Construction environment.

A valid driving license.

Computer skills.
