Job description / core competencies:

Provide on-site service, telephonic service and customer support.

Oversee and participate in performing of a wide variety of skilled tasks including installation, repair & maintain, fault-finding, planning, modification, design, calibrate, SCADA control and electrical client systems maintenance. Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance tasks. To succeed as a Service Technician, you should have excellent technical, mechanical, and electrical skills. Capable of executing industrial automation equipment PCB troubleshooting, fault finding, diagnosing, repairs, testing and maintenance of electronic drives, automation display panels and Industrial PCs. Conduct the managing of all installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks. Physical fitness would be advantageous for this position.

Do standby on rotational basis to attend callout faults and troubleshooting.

Job Qualification & Experience:

Qualification: Electrical Trade Certificate, or Diploma in Electronics or Mechatronics, or equivalent qualification.

Skills required:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.

The ability to work independently.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

The ability to diagnose and solve problems based on customers’ non-technical descriptions.

Strong applicable knowledge of equipment and tools used in the industry.

Experience in:

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Service Technician.

3 to 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing plant that has one or more of the following manufacturing processes:
– Blow Moulding
– Injection Moulding
– Extrusion Moulding
– Packaging plastics (FMCG)
